MANGLZ CROSSFIRE — RULES & TERMS
PART A — OFFICIAL GAME RULES
A1. The board and the shot
- Each player has a board of coloured stones, 13 columns wide, with a danger line near the bottom and a cannon below it with three positions. A stone leaves the cannon at most once every 0.2 seconds, the same for every seat. Aim is yours; the Manglz server alone decides where every stone lands.
- A stone that lands touching three or more of its own colour pops that group. Stones left hanging with nothing above them drop off your board; in rooms with attacks on, they are routed to the opponent you have targeted and pressed onto their board.
- The beat: on a fixed period (Slow, Normal or Fast, chosen when the table is created) every board moves down one row and a new row is fed at the top. Clearing stones is the only way to keep the board up.
- The board dies the moment any stone on it crosses below the danger line. A dead board is out for that round.
- Specials (WIND, SLICER, BOMB, CHROMA) charge from stones cleared by ordinary shots and are spent on use. The power gauge charges from stones dropped off your board. A board that has lost its player stays in the match, is fed like any other and dies on the beat; nobody plays it.
A2. Rounds, matches and results
- 1v1: a round ends when one board dies; the other player wins it. 2v2: a team is out when both of its boards are dead; the round goes to the team with a board still alive. Free for all (four players): a single round; placements are the order in which boards died, the last survivor first.
- 1v1 and 2v2 tables are best of three rounds unless the table was created as a single round. Between rounds every seat presses READY again; entries stay locked for the whole series.
- Boards that die on the same tick tie. A tie in a deciding round is a tie for the match: no winner, every entry refunded, no platform fee. There is no overtime and no shot clock beyond the beat.
- The seed: every match has one random seed that generates the stone colours dealt and every row fed, identically for every board in the match. Everyone faces the same sequence at the same time; no random event ever affects one player differently from another. Nothing else about the field, the terrain or the positions is random.
- Every rated and every cash match is recorded (seed, every input, a replay hash) and re-simulated by the server. A match whose result cannot be verified is flagged for review; Manglz may void it and refund every entry.
PART B — CASH CONTEST TERMS
B1. Who may play for cash
- Free battles and practice follow the general Manglz age rules for accounts. Guests get one free practice game.
- Cash contests, Flash Passes, PAY FOR MY PARTNER and cash prizes are for members 18 years of age or older, or any higher minimum that applies where you are. You confirm this once; a false confirmation is grounds to close the account and void every cash contest it entered.
- Eligibility depends on your physical location at the moment you enter and play each cash contest, verified by Manglz at every cash entry (Part D lists where cash play is offered). Manglz-operated bots are identified as such; a bot never pays an entry.
- One account per person. Sharing an account, playing on someone else's, or holding more than one is prohibited.
B2. Entries, locked balances and who pays
- Every cash table has a fixed entry amount per seat; the entries of all seats form the pool.
- Your entry locks the moment you press READY (PAY NOW). Nothing is charged before that. A locked entry is reserved from your cash balance until the match settles; it is not an escrow held by a third party.
- Each seat pays its own entry, partner and opponents alike, unless one partner on a 2v2 table presses PAY FOR MY PARTNER. That locks both entries of that team from the payer's balance; the partner's READY then locks nothing. Both players must independently pass the age and location checks; sponsorship does not bypass any limit that applies to either of them.
- Un-pressing READY before the match starts unlocks your entry at once. A payer who un-readies withdraws the sponsorship; the partner must then pay their own entry or be sponsored again. Sponsored entries can be refunded only to the payer.
- The match starts on a server countdown once every seat is READY and every entry is covered. If the table is not fully ready within 60 seconds of the first READY, the match is cancelled and every entry is refunded automatically.
- The platform fee displayed when the first entry locks is the fee for that table and is shown to every participant before they press READY. Table rules freeze at that moment too.
B3. The prize and the fees
- Manglz sets the platform fee for each cash contest. Entry amounts, Flash Pass prices, platform-fee rates, prize amounts, and other charges may change prospectively and may vary by game mode, entry amount, tournament, event, or promotion. Before you press READY, Crossfire displays the exact entry amount, total pool, platform-fee rate and amount, and potential prize. Those financial terms lock when the first entry for the table locks and will not change for that funded match. No platform fee is charged on a cancelled, void, or tied match.
- The prize is the pool less the platform fee. In 1v1 it goes to the winner; in 2v2 it is split equally between the winning teammates, except that a sponsored team gets the payer's two entries back first and splits the remaining profit equally (if a prize were ever less than the two entries, the payer receives the whole prize); in free for all it goes to the first-placed player.
- Prizes are credited to the winners' cash balances when the match settles. Every cash verdict shows the full breakdown — pool, platform fee, any processing fee and any tax withheld where applicable, prize and your own result. Manglz may introduce deposit or withdrawal fees only if they are disclosed to you before the transaction.
- Regular tables ($10 to $5,000 a seat) are paid immediately. Prizes on VAULT tables ($10,000 a seat and up) may be held for review for up to 24 hours. Manglz may hold a payment beyond that only for a stated reason — a fraud, security, chargeback or verification review — and will not withhold undisputed funds longer than reasonably necessary.
- Taxes. You are responsible for taxes arising from your prizes. Manglz may collect taxpayer information, withhold amounts, delay payment pending required information, and report payments when required by law. Failure to provide required information may result in backup withholding or withholding of the affected payment. Each recipient of a prize share, including each member of a sponsored team, is treated as receiving their own share.
B4. Forfeits, walkouts and disconnects
- Leaving a cash series between rounds is a forfeit for your side. In a 1v1 the series ends and the other player is paid. In a 2v2 the team plays on: if one partner walks out, the other fights the next rounds 2 v 1 for the team; the series is forfeited only when the whole team has left. Either way the entries stay in the pool and there is no refund for a walkout.
- A connection lost between rounds gets 2 minutes to come back. No return within 2 minutes counts the same as walking out.
- Leaving or losing your connection during a live round pauses nothing: your board stays in the match and the beat decides it. If it dies, you lose that round like any other.
- Your entry buys the whole series. Between rounds you cannot un-ready for a refund.
- If the Manglz server fails during a cash match, the match is void and every locked entry is refunded automatically when service returns.
B5. Settlement corrections and disputes
- Manglz may correct a settlement caused by a calculation error, duplicate credit, verified software defect, or invalid match result. Manglz will provide notice of any material correction. Undisputed funds will not be withheld longer than reasonably necessary.
- To dispute a match result or a settlement, use REPORT on the player's card or write to [email protected] with the room number and the time within 72 hours of the verdict; press F9 during play to copy your shot record and attach it. Disputes raised later are considered only for fraud or for errors Manglz could not reasonably have discovered earlier.
- Manglz decides from the server record. If you disagree with a decision you may ask for an internal review by a different Manglz admin by replying to the decision within 7 days. Nothing here limits your rights under the Manglz Terms of Service or applicable law.
B6. Fair play
- The Manglz server is the only authority on every shot, landing and death. Your device only asks; the server decides.
- Prohibited: unauthorized automation of any kind (bots, scripts, macros, auto-aim, modified clients), multiple accounts, collusion between opponents, deliberately throwing a match, and exploiting a bug. Report a bug instead of using it. KRONOS and the practice opponents are Manglz-operated bots, identified as such.
- Manglz may void a contest, withhold or reverse a prize that is tainted by a breach, refund the honest side, suspend or close an account, and recover chargebacks and amounts actually owed from the affected entries and prizes. Manglz does not confiscate unrelated deposited funds.
B7. Ratings, records and conduct
- Crossfire keeps a rating per mode. A match between real opponents on standard rules is rated; practice, bot-filled and private-friend tables are not. Ratings never change the money.
- Your public record (wins, losses, forfeits, grades) is shown on your Crossfire profile. RESET STATS resets the public-facing statistics only; Manglz retains its internal match, integrity and enforcement records.
- Room, team and spectator chat follow the Manglz community rules. Threats, harassment, hate, spam and soliciting money outside Manglz are grounds for removal. Use REPORT on any player card.
B8. Location verification and challenges
Cash play requires Manglz to verify your physical location when you enter a cash contest. If the system cannot confirm that you are in an eligible jurisdiction, you will be blocked from entering that contest, but the failed check by itself will not be treated as misconduct or result in an account penalty.
Select CHALLENGE THIS to retry using precise device location or request review. Manglz may ask you to enable device-location services, disable a VPN or proxy, complete a live location check using a verified mobile device, or provide other information reasonably necessary to investigate the error.
If Manglz confirms that the original result was incorrect, Manglz may permit cash play for the verified session and correct inaccurate location information associated with your device or connection. A successful challenge does not permanently exempt you from future location checks because eligibility depends on your physical location when each cash contest is entered and played.
Manglz usually reviews challenges within 24 hours, but response times are not guaranteed. If a Manglz location error causes an entry to be locked without a valid match, the entry will be released or refunded automatically.
B9. Refunds and chargebacks
- Refunds inside Crossfire are automatic: a cancelled match, a tie, a server failure, a tournament cancelled before it starts, a duplicate charge, an erroneous purchase confirmed by Manglz, a Manglz cancellation or failure, and the crown-fall Flash Pass exception all return the money without asking. Anything required by law is refunded too.
- There are no refunds for a forfeit, a missed READY clock at the throne, a Flash Pass used or missed, or a contest you lost.
- If you dispute a deposit with your bank or card company after using the money in Crossfire, the disputed amount is removed from your cash balance and the account is suspended until the dispute is settled. A balance that goes negative must be repaid before the account can play again; a payer's chargeback is applied to the payer's account, not to a sponsored partner.
B10. Availability and what Crossfire records
- Crossfire is offered as it is. Manglz may pause new battles for updates (running matches finish), take the game down for maintenance, or close cash play in a jurisdiction or altogether at any time. A planned update waits for running matches; an unplanned one voids them and refunds every locked entry through the procedures above. Manglz LLC is not liable for losses caused by your connection, device, browser or play.
- To run the game and keep it honest, Crossfire records your account, your connection's address and state, your device's location fix when you allow it, your browser, every match's inputs and replay hash, your balance movements at the tables, your age confirmation, your acceptance of these rules, and any challenge or report you file, under the Manglz Privacy Policy.
- Manglz may change these rules. A new version is shown to you in Crossfire and must be accepted before you play again. A change never affects a contest already funded.
PART C — WALLET TERMS
- Manglz has one cash balance. It is funded through the methods offered on the wallet page; Crossfire entries, prizes and Flash Passes move through it. Underneath the one balance Manglz keeps separate records of deposits, prizes, promotional credits, locked entries, reversals and withdrawals.
- A bank transfer is credited after Manglz has confirmed the money has landed, not when a receipt is uploaded. Deposits that were never played may be withdrawn under the Manglz Terms of Service withdrawal rules, which also set methods, minimums and processing times; any fee is disclosed before you confirm.
- Promotional and free credits are tracked apart from cash, have no cash value, and cannot be withdrawn, transferred or used as a cash entry.
- Balances earn no interest and are not deposit-insured. Manglz may require identity, age, tax and ownership verification before a withdrawal and may hold a withdrawal for a stated fraud, chargeback or security review. Report any transaction you did not make to [email protected] at once.
- Stripe separation. Cash balances used for Crossfire are funded only by the methods shown for that purpose on the wallet page. Card payments through Stripe are never used to fund a cash entry, a Flash Pass connected to a cash prize, or a prize payment.
PART D — ELIGIBLE JURISDICTIONS SCHEDULE
- Cash play is offered only where the location check confirms you are, at the moment of entry. In the United States it is offered in every state except Arizona, Arkansas, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Indiana, Louisiana, Maryland, Montana, South Carolina, South Dakota and Tennessee. Outside the United States it is offered in countries Manglz has not excluded; the list of exclusions is applied by the location check.
- Manglz may add or remove jurisdictions at any time; a change never affects a contest already funded. Free play is available everywhere.
PART E — KRONOS CHALLENGE RULES
- KRONOS is an automated player operated by Manglz. He holds the crown until a member beats him. There is no entry to challenge him: joining his line is free from the throne, one challenger at a time, in order.
- The prize shown on the throne is funded by Manglz and paid to the first member who beats him in that season; nothing is ever debited from a challenger or a king. Manglz may set the prize, the bot's difficulty and the number of winners per season, and may change them prospectively with notice on the throne.
- When you are summoned to the throne room you have the time shown on your READY button to press READY — 30 seconds unless the throne says otherwise; the clock counts down on the button. If you do not, you are out of the room and back to the end of the line; a Flash Pass used to get there is spent. After a throne match the verdict stays on your screen until you press a button.
- Flash Passes buy a place at the front of the line for one round, at the price shown, bought with a second tap that reads TAP AGAIN TO PURCHASE. Pass holders go in the order their passes were bought. A pass expires when it is used, when the summons it earned is missed, or when you leave the line. Passes are generally nonrefundable, except: if the crown falls while your pass is still waiting, you choose REFUND or KEEP (your priority is armed when the line reopens); and duplicate charges, purchases Manglz confirms were made in error, a Manglz cancellation or failure, and anything required by law are refunded.
- If a member holds the crown, Manglz may run a COMEBACK: KRONOS challenges the king for a larger Manglz-funded prize. A king who does not answer sees only the offered prize rise, on the schedule shown on the throne, up to the maximum shown there; the king never pays anything and nothing is debited for declining or ignoring a challenge.
- A tie, a disconnect or a server failure in a throne match is handled like any other match (Part A2, B4); a void throne match returns the challenger to their place in line.
