The Hoarder's guide to managing your Arc Raiders inventory

buy arc raiders items will either be your bestie or your worst enemy if you are a collector who can't stop. Arc Raiders, despite being a shooter at its core, has a loot and crafting system that is full of interesting items to collect. It's an important part of the game. The game is filled with junk, including everything from high-powered weapons to deflated balls.

From one hoar collector to another, I thought it was only natural to share with you some of the ways that I manage this endless gathering, in an otherwise action-packed, adrenaline-rush game.

This is a three-pronged strategy that addresses what I consider to be the three biggest pain points when it comes to inventory management.

Arc Raiders' inventory management and crafting metagame is what makes the action happen on the map. Find stuff to create stuff is what you are here to do. An overflowing inventory can be a great opportunity to write down a few tasks and then go out into the field.

I'm out of stock - arc raiders coins

Your inventory may be full if you've just completed a raid. Your inventory may be full and you cannot use something that was a reward for completing a task. Perhaps you are unable to use a Free Loadout due to your full inventory.

If you do this, I will guess that you don't pay much attention to details in your inventory. It may be difficult to scroll through all the icons in a grid with so many different items. With a few easy steps, you can get this mess sorted.

Step one: Manage the inventory stacks

Arc Raiders inventory system may not be the most effective at clearing up space. The inventory system in Arc Raiders isn't the most intelligent or automated.

Take Shotgun ammo. Grid-like layout with stacks of icons. The icon allows you to stack up to 20 shells. If you stack more than 20 shells, each stack will max out at the maximum of 20. Stacks that are less than 20 count can take up multiple grid spots. Three grid spots could be taken up by one stack of 20 items, then another stack of 12 and then a third stack of 2. Inefficient!

Click the "Merge Stacks' button located next to your sorting options. It would be nice to have your stash do this automatically.

Step 2: Sell valuables, and recycle recyclables

If you're overflowing with items in your inventory because you collect everything, there might be some valuables you need to remove. I am surprised by how many random valuables like a music tape, rubber duck set, or rosary bead set are sitting in the Misc. category.

They can go unless you're crafting something. Arc Raiders inventory system fails us yet again. Not all items that are labelled as recyclable or sellable should be thrown away. Pillows are a good example of valuables that you can sell. They are also needed to upgrade Scrappy At the Workshop. Keep track of any crafting project you are working so that you don't end up selling the required items.

As well, in the Crafting menu (the wrench icon will appear), you can recycle junk items that aren't useful for you. As with valuables and other items, you may need to recycle some of them for Workshop upgrades. Clearing out some camera lenses, candleholders, radios and rusted tool can be all that you need to make space.

 Step three: Repair existing gear

Your inventory shouldn't contain too many copies of the same item. For example, shields and guns have durability meters which must be maintained. Upgrades to guns are also available for improved functionality.

You can start by addressing these issues. You should repair any existing shields. Also, ensure that your guns have reached their maximum durability or are nearing it. I would also suggest crafting weapon modifications and applying them as soon as possible to your weapons.

You can reduce your overall inventory by reducing the amount of crafting materials you have.

Bonus tip: Craft Quick-Use items and carry them with you

The previous tip is also a good one, but it's worth taking the time to make things like door blockers, noisemakers and smoke grenades. The items you can craft are fun and useful, and they also consume materials.

Arc Raiders offers a lot of junk and loot. You can decode a lot of the material thanks to the hard work of pRoDeeD, a Reddit user. Happy collecting!
