u4gm How to Track Down Geiger Counters in ARC Raiders Guide
If you’ve been out in the field for a while, you’ve probably noticed how quickly ARC Raiders likes to change the pace, and you’re suddenly shuffling your gear again while chasing new loot. It happens to me all the time, especially now that everyone’s after a Geiger Counter, which sounds simple but isn’t something you can just build or buy. The only way to get one is to loot it, and that’s where things get messy. I was talking with a friend about this over a run, and sliding an item like the ARC Raiders BluePrint into the conversation almost felt natural because everything in this game ends up looping back to how you gear up and what tools you need to keep moving.
Where You Actually Need to Go
You’ll figure out pretty fast that regular zones won’t help you here, so there’s no point poking around old haunts hoping for a miracle drop. The only places worth your time are the Exodus loot zones. They came in with Stella Montis, and they’re still the only consistent option. You’ll want to stick to two maps for now: Stella Montis itself and the Spaceport. It’s a narrow search area, sure, but at least you don’t waste hours checking regions that can’t drop the item. Once you get the hang of the routes, the runs go quicker, though the fights don’t get any easier.
Hotspots That Are Worth a Shot
On Spaceport, the spot to keep circling back to is the Rocket Assembly zone. It’s busy, loud, and usually full of people who want the same loot you do, so you’ll end up watching your corners constantly. If you prefer the slower pace of Stella Montis, head down into the lower floors and find the Assembly area there. I’ve found a couple of counters in both places, though never back-to-back. Some days you walk out empty-handed, and that’s just the game rolling low on you. The upside is that Exodus Modules drop way more often, so even when you miss out, the run isn’t wasted.
Why This Grind Matters
The funny thing is, you don’t even want the Geiger Counter for what it’s supposed to do. You grab it to break it down. Recycling it gives you those Exodus Modules everyone’s chasing, and those modules go straight into crafting some of the strongest gear you can build at the Gunsmith. Most players I talk to are aiming for the Hullcracker, and it’s hard to blame them. Once you fire one up, you get why it’s worth the grind. So while you’re pushing through Assembly zones and pulling every crate open, it helps to think about the payoff you’re working toward with the help of a cheap ARC Raiders BluePrint.
