Advertising standards and terms

1. What you buy
A sponsored placement in the Manglz feed and/or sidebar for the dates you choose, with a guaranteed number of viewable impressions. The number and the price are computed for your order alone from the audience Manglz measured in the last 30 days; they are not a rate card and may differ from another buyer's.
2. How impressions are counted
- Served — the ad was delivered to a page.
- Viewable — at least half of the ad was on screen for one continuous second. Only viewable impressions count toward the guarantee.
- Counting is done by Manglz on its own servers (no third-party verification). Staff and moderator accounts, demo and test accounts, probes, crawlers and headless browsers are excluded from every figure.
- At most three impressions per member per day are counted for any one campaign. Days are Eastern Time.
- An ad marked 18+ is shown only to members known to be 18 or older. Ads never appear inside Crossfire.
3. The guarantee and the make-good
If the guaranteed viewable impressions have not been delivered by your end date, the campaign keeps running, one day at a time, until they have — for up to 30 extra days. No refund is made while an extension runs. If the guarantee is still not met when the extension limit is reached, the undelivered share of your payment is refunded automatically (see section 5).
4. Approval, changes and removal
- Orders may be reviewed before they run. A held order slides forward by whole days until it is approved; if it is not approved within seven days it is cancelled and refunded in full.
- A paid ad cannot be edited. To change it, ask for a rejection and place a new order.
- Manglz may reject or remove an ad at any time for breaking the standards in section 7 or for any other reason. On rejection the uploaded image is deleted and the refund in section 5 applies.
5. When money comes back — and when it does not
Refunded automatically (to the card you paid with, or by bank transfer if you paid by bank):
- the whole payment, if Manglz rejects the ad before it runs or fails to approve it within seven days;
- the undelivered share, in proportion to the guarantee, if Manglz rejects or ends the campaign while it runs, or if the guarantee is still unmet when the make-good extension runs out.
Not refunded:
- if you stop the campaign early from your report page — the remaining funds are forfeited;
- anything while a make-good extension is running;
- impressions that were delivered.
Refunds are issued from the site's payment records, never on request by phone or e-mail. Card refunds usually show within 5–10 business days. A card dispute (chargeback) ends the campaign the moment it is received and closes that e-mail address to further orders.
6. Payment
- Card payments are taken by Stripe on its own secure page; card details never touch Manglz. The charge shows the Stripe account's descriptor.
- Bank transfers must carry the order reference in the memo and the exact amount shown; an order with no transfer after seven days expires.
- Prices are in US dollars. Sales tax: the sale of advertising space is exempt from New Jersey Sales and Use Tax (N.J.S.A. 54:32B-3; N.J. Division of Taxation publication S&U-9), so no sales tax is added to an order unless a tax line is shown at checkout and on the receipt. Any tax owed under the advertiser's own jurisdiction's rules is the advertiser's responsibility.
7. Advertising standards
Your ad, and the page it links to, must not contain or promote:
- sexual or adult content, nudity, escort or dating-for-pay services;
- scams, get-rich-quick schemes, counterfeit goods, malware, or misleading claims about a product, price or result;
- illegal products or services, weapons, drugs, or anything unlawful where the ad is shown;
- hate, harassment, discrimination, or content targeting a person;
- political campaign advertising or election-related claims;
- content that imitates Manglz, its features, or its notifications, or that hides that it is an advertisement.
Alcohol, gambling, tobacco and vaping ads must be marked 18+. Every ad is labelled "Sponsored" with your business name. Links must be real https:// addresses that open the page you advertise.
8. Your responsibilities
You confirm that you own or are licensed to use the text and image you upload, that your ad is truthful and lawful, and that you are authorised to buy advertising for the business named. You are responsible for the content of the page your ad links to.
9. Data
Manglz keeps the business name, contact e-mail, the ad, the order and payment record (never card numbers) and the delivery log. The buyer's network address is kept for six months for fraud and dispute handling. The uploaded image is stored with the site's other media; a rejected ad's image is deleted on rejection. The private report link expires 90 days after the campaign ends. Payment records at Stripe and e-mail delivery logs at the mail provider are kept under those providers' rules.
10. Limits
Manglz's liability on any order is limited to the amount paid for that order. Manglz does not promise any result from an ad beyond the viewable impressions guaranteed. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, USA.
